LynqOne helps users monitor LynqOne GPS tracking devices for vehicles, valuables, and assets. By using LynqOne, you agree that your information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information we collect

Account data, such as your name, email address, password credentials, phone number, and settings you provide when creating or managing a LynqOne account.

Tracker and device identifiers, such as LynqOne GPS device IDs, SIM or network identifiers, vehicle or asset labels, and the mobile devices you use to access the app.

Location data from LynqOne GPS devices, including latitude, longitude, speed, heading, timestamps, route history, and related status information needed to display and manage tracked vehicles, valuables, and assets.

App diagnostics and usage data, such as crash reports, logs, device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and performance information that helps us secure and improve the service.

Notification information, such as notification tokens and alert preferences, so we can send location, geofence, device status, and account-related notifications you choose to receive.

How we use information

We use your information to operate the LynqOne mobile app, show current and historical GPS device locations, provide alerts, maintain account access, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

We may also use contact information to respond to support requests, send service notices, and communicate important account, security, or policy updates.

LynqOne does not currently offer in-app payments or subscriptions, and we do not collect payment card details through the app.

Location data and responsible use

LynqOne is designed for lawful GPS tracking of your own vehicles, valuables, and assets, or items you are authorized to monitor. You are responsible for using LynqOne devices and the app in compliance with applicable laws and for obtaining any required consent before tracking a person, vehicle, or asset.

Location data can be sensitive. Do not use LynqOne to stalk, harass, secretly monitor, or unlawfully track another person. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe the service is being misused.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to provide and protect the service, such as with hosting, database, analytics, notification, customer support, infrastructure, security, and communications providers.

Service providers are expected to process information only for the services they provide to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users and the public, to investigate misuse, or during a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

Data retention and deletion

We keep account, tracker, device, location, diagnostic, and support information for as long as needed to provide LynqOne, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, and maintain security.

You can request deletion of your LynqOne account and associated data from inside the LynqOne app while signed in. This helps us verify that the request is coming from the account owner.

If you cannot access your account, contact us at [email protected] for help. Before deleting an account or associated data through a support request, we may require reasonable steps to confirm that you control the account or are legally authorized to make the request.

We do not delete another person's account or tracker data based only on an unverified request. Some information may remain in backups or records for a limited period where retention is required for security, legal, fraud prevention, accounting, or operational reasons.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You should keep your account credentials confidential and contact us promptly if you believe your account or a LynqOne GPS device has been accessed without authorization.

Children's privacy

LynqOne is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the app, website, or account contact information. The updated policy will be effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated.
